Itinerary

• Malmö - Landskrona

  Start by picking up your bikes at the Travelshop at Malmö Central Station. The cycle tour starts by following the signs for the south coast trail all the way to Landskrona. The first stage is 57km and the journey north from Malmö offers a pleasant cycle ride with nice views along the coast. Once you arrive in Landskrona, you stay comfortably at hotel Öresund, where you can also take advantage of the hotel's new spa facility. This is also where you collect your tickets for Ven.

• Landskrona - Ven

  Rested and after eating a good breakfast, you cycle on to the port. The departures to Ven start at the ship's bridge and once there you take the Ventrafiken boat over to the island. Here you take your time and experience everything the island has to offer. It only takes 30 minutes to go out to Ven and the ferry departs frequently. The island is very beautiful and idyllic, only 4.5 km long and 2 km wide. Tycho Brahes, who lived here in the 16th century, was an astronomer who built himself an observatory on the island, which is now a museum. Other places that you should visit are Sankt Ibb's church, the old lighthouses, Kyrkbacken and the distillery - spirit of Hven.

• Landskrona - Helsingborg

  After another night at hotel Öresund, you cycle on to Helsingborg. The second stage is 27km and along the way the fields are more rolling, and the fishing villages are close to each other. In Helsingborg there are plenty of options for those interested in history, beautiful castles, shopping, or beautiful nature. In the heart of the city, you stay at Elite Mollberg, where you can rest before the journey continues to Höganäs.

• Helsingborg - Arildsvingård

  From Helsingborg you cycle north, taking the opportunity to make a stop at Sofiero Castle and the long, lovely beaches at Domsten and Viken. The stage is 22 km long and will lead you to Kullabygden, here you will find several places to enjoy - everything from dramatic nature and family-friendly destinations to places with that little extra that adds a golden edge to your bike ride. The last night will be at Arildsvingård, where you can book a wine tasting or go on a vineyard tour. A real gem, real Tuscany vibes but in Skåne.

• Arildsvingård - Travelshop Helsingborg

  After a pleasant stay at the vineyard, the last distance is back to Helsingborg again. Once in Helsingborg, the bikes are returned to the Travelshop at the central station. Use the day to either discover more of Helsingborg or explore further the area in Höganäs. The cycle tour ends here.
