The perfect thing about one-way is that you decide the distances yourself, cycle the whole route or just a bit. So, you don't necessarily need to cycle the entire bike trail in one go. This package includes the opportunity to start in Österlen and cycle from the south coast in Ystad to Lahomsbukten and the Bjäre Peninsula in Båstad. Regardless of interest, choice of accommodation or the status of your fitness level, you can adapt the cycle tour to your exact wishes and conditions. Itinerary
Ystad – Sjöbo
Ystad is a beautiful harbour town dating back to the 12th century. Ystad is known for its cobbled streets, small alleys, and half-timbered houses. In Ystad there is something for everyone to discover, St. Mary's Church, Sweden's oldest cinema Scala and the art museum. In Ystad, the detective films about Wallander were also filmed, in Ystad you can follow in Wallander's footsteps and experience the film locations. You can also go on a guided tour or make a stop at the Ystad Studios Visitor Center where you can see props from several other films. There are also plenty of cosy cafes and a small fishing harbour where you can have a good lunch or try home-made ice cream at Ystad ice cream shop. You start your bike ride in the city and once you're in the saddle, a bike path leads you east in the direction of Sjöbo.

Sjöbo – Hörby – Höör
In Sjöbo you have a lot close by, from cultural experiences to magnificent nature. In Sjöbo you can find small-town charm, cozy villages, deep forests, rolling fields and enjoy peace and quiet. If you want a more active holiday, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, horse riding, playing golf or enjoying nature. In the area there are also several lakes that invite you to both paddling, swimming, and fishing. A popular place to visit is Eriksgården, where you can pick strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries around the farm. You can enjoy the fresh berries in their berry buffet or shop in their farm shop if you can't bear to pick them yourself.

Höör - Rörstånga
Lakes, beaches, forest, and cultural landscape you will cycle through as you continue your journey. Höör is called the small town with the large selection and there are lots of enjoyable places to discover. Höör is also home to the Skåne Zoo, which is the world's largest zoo for Nordic animals. You reach Röstånga within an hour from Höör, take the opportunity to stop at the cafe Lotta on Åsen, known for its waffles and home-baked cakes. In Rörstånga, you can either stay at the guest house or at First camp, a campsite with a wide range of services. First camp has an open-air swimming pool and between dips there is also a mini golf course, boules court, beach volleyball court, table tennis, paddling and fishing at your disposal. In the reception building there is a small shop with the essentials and a seasonal restaurant and ice cream kiosk.

Rörstånga - Klippan – Hjärnarp
The cycle tour eventually takes you to the city Klippan. The nature surrounding Klippan offers both varied coniferous and deciduous forest and in between many mosses. A couple of the most famous attractions are Klippans Wool Factory and Söderåsen National Park. Söderåsen National Park is a must see-experience with its 1,600 hectares, the park invites you to an awesome and magnificent nature. Here there is lush deciduous forest, steep slopes, high cliffs, rippling streams and wide views. When you are in Klippan, if you do not choose the hotel option, there are also several lakes, of which Bälingesjön and Fjällrammsjön are two of the largest where you can camp outside in nature.

Hjärnarp – Båstad
Hilly terrain, cozy fishing villages and genuine villages - that's what this peninsula has to offer. There is a well-developed road network here with asphalted, less-trafficked rural roads that are very suitable for cycling. Båstad is a real summer idyll, you can't miss strolling around the city's cozy harbor. Have dinner at one of the many nice restaurants, watch boats and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The best swim is at Skansenbadet in central Båstad, here the sand is soft, and the water is shallow. Visit Hovs Hallar, a very steep coastal section on the Bjäre Peninsula. The nature experience here is described as outstanding, there are many rocky beaches and exciting caves to discover. Sleep an extra night in Båstad so you have time to discover everything the Bjäre Peninsula has to offer!
