Today it is rather a multicultural city that is unique, where they have taken advantage of the old och merged it with the new. A new city has been formed, with new buildings creating new and more neighborhoods. It has become symbols of Malmö's rapid change from an industrial city to a green, global, and urban city of knowledge. 

This is a tour for those of you who are interested in the environment and sustainability. The goal for the city of Malmö is to become a global role model for sustainable urban development with neighborhoods such as Hyllie and Västra Hamnen at the forefront.

On our tour through New Malmö, we look at Malmö's successful sustainability work by visiting, the Shipyard, and the Western Port, with lunch at Malmö Saluhall, Sjöstaden, and Kalkbrottet.
