Terms of Rental

The renter accepts the bicycle in good condition, and commits themselves to return the bike in equally good condition, and to ride the bike respecting the rules and obligations outlined in Sweden’s laws, as well as committing themselves:

Not to adjust or manipulate the mechanical parts of the bicycle. Not to adjust or manipulate the extra-lock code. To park the bike in a manner that is safe for pedestrians and in a place where theft is minimized (e.g. no dark alleys). To return the bike at the time and date indicated on the contract. A late return will be charged according to the description below. *

To be responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment which, always, remains the exclusive property of Travelshop AB. In case the equipment is lost, destroyed or damaged beyond repair in the judgment of Travelshop AB, the renter agrees to pay Travelshop AB the value to replace the equipment. The replacement charge will be determined by Travelshop AB and charged at the time of the return.

* If the return of the rental object is on the same day but at a time that is not defined by the date and time indicated on the contract will result in a fine based on the rental objects day price. If the return of the rental object is on a day that is not defined by the date and time indicated on the contract will result in a fine based on the number of days, the object was left beyond.

Cancellation

  • Any object that has been rented from Travelshop AB will be subject to this cancellation policy and Travelshop AB reserves the right to change their cancellation policy at any time without notice. The customer will only be affected by the change if their reservation is further than six months from their departure/booking date. Travelshop AB will not change the policy without proper cause.
  • This policy is only applicable on long-distance orders and does not affect bookings with departure within two weeks. All long-distance orders have a 100% refund the first two weeks. Cancellation on bookings with departure within two weeks from the date of the reservation will have their separate cancellation policy that is applicable on agreement with the renter. 

Citybike

  1. Any cancellations made further than one week before departure will result in a 100% refund.
  2. Any cancellations made within one week from departure will result in an 80% refund.
  3. Any cancellations made within 48 hours from departure will result in an 50% refund.

Touring & Electric bikes:
Any cancellations made further than two weeks before departure will result in a 100% refund

  1. Any cancellations made within two weeks from departure will result in an 60% refund.
  2. Any cancellations made within one week from departure will result in a 40% refund.
  3. Any cancellations made within 48 hours from departure will result in a 0% refund.

Cargobikes:
Any cancellations made further than one week before departure will result in a 100% refund

  1. Any cancellations made within one week from departure will result in an 60% refund.
  2. Any cancellations made within 48 hours from departure will result in a 0% refund.

Tandem:
Any cancellations made further than one week before departure will result in a 100% refund

  1. Any cancellations made within one week from departure will result in an 80% refund.
  2. Any cancellations made within 48 hours from departure will result in a 0% refund.

Other:
Any cancellations made further than one week before departure will result in a 100% refund

  1. Any cancellations made within one week from departure will result in an 80% refund.
  2. Any cancellations made within 48 hours from departure will result in a 0% refund.
